From the land of the lost...
Just found a pocket watch minute hand I lost over 3 months ago. It's quite a surprise when one of these tiny lost parts magically appears on the floor... 90,96,72,0,B

Lost and Found...
Found this wristwatch dial marker yesterday. I lost it over a month ago and much to my surprise, I spotted it on the floor after the light hit it just right. 81,89,58,0,B

parts...
New watch stem from Bulgaria is a perfect match - although it will have to get cut down to fit the case. I broke the stem on this Russian watch when I first began working on it over 2 months ago. Now waiting on 6 identical parts movements that I got for 24 bucks including shipping from the Ukraine. Need to replace a lost clutch wheel on this movement. Servicing (and getting parts for) old watches takes a lot of patience. 92,102,78,0,C

Taking the next step...
Gearing up for my first full disassembly and cleaning of a key wind pocket watch movement and all the parts. Setting up the webcam to record the action so I will know how to put it back together. This is a spare movement that donated a mainspring for another Elgin. I have a new mainspring coming for this one by the end of the week. 88,95,54,0,B
