Life off the grid in the SW Texas desert. An experiment in sustainable living. NUMBERS AT THE END OF EACH BLOG POST: temp at 8PM,high temp, low temp, rainfall, wind conditions(CalmBreezyWindyGusty).
Shucks! I almost took the same photos for my blog. ;)
Stunning. Just stunning. Thank you for sharing those, John!
standing and applauding, not really.. but if I felt like standing I would be clapping my hands right now. I luv that photo.
That's a pretty eventful looking sky...thank you :o)
Is that what Meteorologists call a "Super Cell"? I see a tower, an anvil, a shelf, and a whole lot of energy in that thing. Did it scrape over the top of the Field Lab?I recall a trip to Arizona where, as in Texas, an unobstructed horizon-to-horizon view provided quite the view of storms. Worth all the flat.
Great pics, John. The first one is now my desktop background. Thanks!
John have you shut down your webcam?
I always really appreciate the spectacular landscape photography. We just don't have "big sky" in Missouri.
