first bean

GrubShack breakfast sandwich with egg, cheddar cheese, and sausage on home made Tyra Bread.

Finished up the north deck except for the last course to leave room for a channel for the sliding glass door.  Was trying to decide the best way to end the decking on the middle end of the courtyard and decided is was the perfect spot of an inground planter so I plunked in some cinder blocks.  Picking up extra lumber in the AM to finish joisting the south side.

Gotta first bean of the season and my morning glories are starting to climb.  91,101,59,0,C,0

Hi! I've been following for a while, and have been intrigued but confused as to the layout and purposes of your container building/greenhouse/decking areas. Might you diagram it out some time? As if you don't have enough to do...

For health reasons I became an unwilling vegan two months ago, although I’ve seen 18 pounds of the 100 pounds I must to lose come off I have to say I’ve not missed eating meat at all. Then this morning when I logged on to see your daily progress, I’m hit with the pic of your GrubShack breakfast sandwich with egg, cheddar cheese, and sausage. Very un-cool.

Ipomoea is a personal favorite and I wonder what kind you are growing. I find it remarkable how fast it grows. My state has banned it as an invasive weed.

So glad to see the Grub Shack back in operation. How are the new owners?

The deck and the paved courtyard together make a beautiful, comfortable living space. Nice design, and nice work.

That is one colorful bean.

The vine covered wall of flowers will be beautiful.
