It looks like the board of directors are visiting your homested. I'm kind of partial as I've had donkeys in my life for 18 years. Donkeys are wonderful creatures.

ha ha Sable, I love those burros. I had horses in Alaska , but always wanted mules. The only burros I know about are small ones. Those look huge. Wonder if anyone can adopt one of those?

Thanks for the photos.

Which animal could you kill every one of them and they would come back?

I Googled buros in West Texas and found that "buro" is a dirty word to honchos at Big Bend National Park. They wish every last buro would "go away" since they tear up water holes (and crap in them) and compete with indigenous species for forage. Two Big Bend park employees recently shot 71 buros. The buro population is placed at 200 to 500 in Big Bend.

John's property, in Brewster County, is outside Big Bend. Guess we now know there are at least 10 buros in the area. Now we have to wonder if John's water hole is safe from buro fragging.

Sheesh. How can such an interesting animal, having been around several hundred years, stir up such controversy?

These must be some special kind of burros, I count ten heads but only 28 feet. Maybe some of um are two headed.

Yea I know they're hiding behind the bushes, the feet that is, OR, are they?

One of the funniest things I ever saw was a wild burro races at the Marathon rodeo. They had a team of 4 cowboys that had to dress their burro, put a saddle on it and get it across the finish line. Took about half an hour to get a winner.

Those Burros can park themselves at our place anytime. I have a donk and just love him.
