Spent most of the day going up and down ladders and climbing the scaffold. Measured about 20 times and cut once. Got the first purlin lined up and set on the tippy top....the trusses line up beautifully. Sure was good to see that nice straight line once I got the ridge into position. A little more figuring to do then I go into factory production mode. Looking forward to getting the rest of the steel off the ground and into the air. 47,62,21,0

I found your site the other day and read over a year of blog posts last night.
Really cool to see what you are doing with the greenhouse. Do you plan to use it year-round, or just for season extension?
I must say John, that's a piece of art...although it resembles a Walmart store. Just kid'n bout the Walmart.
Hope to see a roof on it and grow'n maters my next trip through Terlingua....bout 5 or 6 months. I know...that's the hottest time of the year, but what the heck, it's gotta be hot somewhere.
Looking really good John, can't wait to see how you intergrate the rain catch system into the scheme.
Yep their was a few times I had my doubts, but now it is starting to look like a real building, a real big building.
If you are going to raise poo veggies, then you had better be producing a lot of poo to fill all the planters in that building.
Nice building. I like photo #2 with its subliminal branding.
Feels good to see the nearing of the completed shell. Lots of work ahead and lots behind.
Haven't seen or heard any trumpeting or piano playing celebration lately hows it coming?
Kudos!
It is looking good! You surprise me, I thought that was going on the roof, not the sides.
Looking good and straight as an arrow! Now if you could just have more good weather. (Me to!)
Now, That's really starting to look like something! You must be so proud. It looks great!
Photo #2 is great, also. Another example of your creative mind.
Keep on rockin'!
That's just pretty! Congrats on how far you've come!
