five gallons of heaven...

Felt like crap all last night and most of the day. I reckon I've been inhaling too much in the way of welding fumes lately...happy to give my lungs a break for awhile. Laid low all day walking my property, puttering around and bonding with longhorns. Just taught this big cow how to hand feed this morning. She hung close by all day - wanting to perfect the trick, no doubt. Have yet to come up with a name for my new protege.

Did the GrubShack thing today for a late lunch which kinda perked me up....fried chicken livers. I reckon that has got to be good for me (except for the fried part). Finally started feeling up to snuff by the end of the day so I bumped the good vibe with a nice hot shower. Felt really good to peel off those welding clothes and scrub down. 57,76,29,0

John, any idea how many gallons of water it takes to take a shower with your setup?

I reckon I'd be willing to bet around five gallons :)

Well... I figured as high tech as his shower is he was probably over stating the amount used. ;) Perhaps atomizing it where 2 would do? (If he didn't plan to go to the Starlight or something like that of course.)

Made. Me. Laugh.

You're alright, tffnguy, alright indeed :)

(Sorry for the digression, y'all proceed.)

Every one needs a little time off, even God took seven days to create the world. And he said "it is good". Clear your lungs and enjoy your relax time.

If you haven't already used it, the name Sheila popped into my head when I saw the picture. Hope I spelled it right. I don't think I even know anyone named that. Except perhaps a longhorn, now...

(I won't be offended if you don't use the name)

Fried chicken livers once in awhile won't hurt you, eat some fresh cabbage as that is good for so many things.

Speaking of chicken livers, John, will you be having a few chickens later on? Too many coyotes? Raptors?

Was reading an article about aguaponics for raising veggies, or any other thing that has roots (as opposed to hydroponics,) using fish for nutrients along with recycled water. Have you heard of that process?
