Beautiful shots. I like the one of Dick and the other gentleman rounding up the cattle. It's great to see that real cowboys still DO exist today.
The picture of Benita is a good one for her Facebook friends.
Hope you are enjoying the Texas July cold spell.
I think what amazes me is how green the desert is in summer. Thanks for sharing the pics with everyone, John!
Good picture of Dick Cain. Who's that next to him? Looks a little like Wilford Brimley (the actor).
Love these photos, especially the one of the sunflower. Just beautiful.
Judging by the file name on the photo, that's Dick's brother...
Great pictures JW (as usual) sure makes me miss my days growing up on the ranch.
Cactus pairs look yummy. The seeds inside remind me of pomegranate. Just break them open and eat the seeds. Next year you will have more cactus plants by your composting toilet.
Fantastic photos. Thanks for sharing them.
We always enjoy your photo's, great shots.
Time for prickly pear MARGARITAS!!

The photo of Benita against the landscape is the most iconic-aha! photo I've seen in the last 2.5 yrs. I think it is a photograph of posterity. Well done, gentleman.
