moving on...

My camper guests survived the night just fine.  Too chilly for me to join them early this morning as they hunkered over their breakfast tacos.  Right after they finished packing up, Benita and crew came in for their breakfast show as we came up to the house for the porch portrait.  Spent the rest of the day working on the north side gutter mount.  Only 18.5 ft. to go.  52,74,26,0,B

I think this is the biggest crowd you've had on the porch. Looks like everyone had a grand time. Wish we could've been there.

I just got off work and swung by the post office to pick up my mail. Happy to see that our Field Lab post cards arrived. They are all so beautiful. We spread them all out on the kitchen table, and Ok Hwa just loved them. I suggest you make up a fresh batch every year, and release them just before Christmas, maybe even an annual Field Lab calendar. Any one who has not already gotten themselves a set - you owe it to yourself to order some today!

Cheers, and good luck with the gutter project.

It looks like your visitors had a good time even with the low temps.

Those highs look real good from here in Okie land. JLP

They look like a happy bunch. Why did they only stay for one night? Did they come down to hunt?

John, Just got back home, safe and sound, from our annual trip to the Big Bend country. Our visit to The Field Lab was definately the highlight of our trip this year. Everyone was very impressed and very appreciative of your hospitality. Thanks again for allowing us to camp.

Awesome job! I think that camping is fun, no matter where it is at! I also had no idea that installing gutters would be so much work! Kudos to you guys for working hard!
