WOW!!!!! Has it EVER been this beautiful in all the years you've been there? This is gorgeous. Hey, do Ben and Bud have any cactus blooms for dessert? I remember how Benita used to love them.

Breathtaking. They might spread. Did you throw any seeds out there? One year my yard was like that after I threw wild flower seeds out. You could make that area a show place if you threw other seeds out everywhere around you?

Those flowers sort of lift the spirits don't they. That was my excuse not to mow, because it is illegal to cut wildflowers (and they quickly wilt). But they don't come up here anymore. They are God's gift to us.

I guess I know what Heidi and I will be doing early next week. What a masterpiece by the master of landscapes.

Simply amazing how good that desert looks in the Spring. John's baby rabbit, and the larger animals, will all have a lot to nibble on this year!

Well, you could certainly be proud, JW, to have a home in that beautiful area and of all you have accomplished. And the good thing is, you can always create new improvements for pleasure, utilitarian, and comfort. Pretty soon, people will really wish they had a place like yours. I bet some people might like post cards of some of the pictures you have of that area.

That's beautiful. Reminds me of New Mexico.

I wonder what sorts of bees you have out there to pollinate all those wild flowers?

The yellow flowers are some kind of mustard, probably yellow rocket...pollinated by wind, flies, and the vanishing honeybee. Not sure what those purploe ones are - bluebonnets? Pretty as can be.
