first coins

The knives added 236.6 grams for a final total of 2058.6 grams from the whole set of flatware.  Time to start turning them into half ounce coins.  73,80,65,0,C

Just a thought I still say your taking a useful piece of metal and melting it down to make a useless piece of metal.

Labor intensive. Inventive repurposing.

You haven't said what the design is going to be and will they be numbered and what the cost will be. Got one of your original ones for my Grandson, but I have another Grandson a little young at 5, but he will become a Field lab follower like his older brother I am sure

I would like to make a bolo tie with one of those nice coins. That would certainly be putting the silver to a good use! Lots of good uses for silver - other than at the dinner table. Just necessary to look outside the dining room!
