I wonder what the guys eat and how they keep from being food for snakes and other predators...

Those poor jackrabbits are so lucky they are on your property, John. Because 50 years ago the ranchers would sometimes massacre them as nuisances. It was so heartbreaking when I think back. The rabbits were just so happy and innocent and then to die some agonizing death. Sorry. But this was a tough land - the wild untamed west.

You think this is the same bunny you took photos of up by the water Fawcet an hose last year?

A foot over and it would be bunny suicide by tire.

I miss the livestreaming and watching you feed them. Wabbits and carrots everywhere.

I miss the burros.

Rabbits now love John Wells because he no longer has a dog. And has all kinds of nice things to eat - which are really difficult to find in the Chihuahuan Desert.

Probably some bunny stories are better left untold.

Thirty years ago I had a smart white baby bunny from a farm auction in Ohio and a smart baby Himalayan kitten and they played together in my sleeping room at OSU. They were so cute and wonderful.

yeah everyman, i miss the burros (especially Mr. Floppy) AND the longhorns walking around. John had names for all of 'em. I wonder if Benita's daughter Beatrice is still around?
