It's a tough ole world isn't it baby bunny.

Just kidding the little rabbit lovers! That bunny is not big enough to qualify as an appetizer for my 100 pound Black Lab. Magic will gobble down half a full grown jackrabbit - and then start begging for the other half!

I see no room for improvement.

Got cute little flying squirrels here. One flew over the hood of my truck as I was pulling out of the driveway couple of weeks ago.He was hanging from the talons of a peregrine falcon that has set up shop nearby. It's partial to mourning doves, too. Hit's them with such force,it looks like a pillow exploded.I don't think they know what hit them. Bunnies beware !

That little fellow is part of the food chain just like Johns chickens down there in that part of Texas.

I noticed a single dime-sized drop of bright red blood on the snow near the house a few days ago. There was no sign of a struggle and no tracks around it so I figured the falcon was back. Sure enough later when I raked the roof I pulled down dove feathers with the snow.

You know of you can't live on hunting rabbit and eating rabbit every day because after many days, the rabbit food will kill you.

There is rabbit fever but the main one for humans in the wilderness on a continuous only diet of wild rabbit is starvation because the rabbit is lean meat with no essential fatty acids.

Not any fat on dove or quail breasts either! Maybe that is why they taste so much better if they are grilled - wrapped in bacon?

Hey, Mr. Wells, I have plans for a quazi hydroponic garden that master gardeners in Albuquerque were interested in. If your garden gets too hot, you can use cooling tubes. E-mail me @ renejennings77.rj@gmail.com if you want to have a meeting of the minds. PTL
