rocket stove

Got another post imbedded.  Dr. Deb and her friend Stacy are out for a Field Lab getaway.  Both of them have some new seedlings and wisdom for my greenhouse and Stacy built a rocket stove for me!  We cooked some steaks and sauteed some portobello mushrooms and garlic with it using only a handful of twigs to do the job.  80,92,55,0,B,0

Looks like a coffee can stove we used to make in Girl Scouts. We put cardboard and wax into tuna fish cans to use as fuel.

On a different note, has the large area in the background been purposely scrapped off (not the fence line) or is it naturally bare?

Talking about garlic now is the time to put your garlic cloves in the ground for next years garlic

BTW, Oberon is one of the great craft beer made here in Michigan. One of the things we do well is beer.

As rocket stoves go that one isn't that great.

Those rocket stoves seem to defy logic. They put out a tremendous amount of heat. Got to build me one.

Nice to have visitors who come to cook.

The fence is coming together nicely.
