so tall

Chances of rain coming up = supply run to Alpine.  74 of 100 ingots have been finished and mailed off.  Needed a day to let my fingertips heal from the polishing routine.  Bought some special tape to protect them for the final assault.  Got a huge sotol bloom just south of the greenhouse.  This is the tallest I have seen out here...and you can make some killer booze out of the plant.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sotol  91,102,75,0,B,.36

John,
A pair of leather garden/work gloves will also work for the polishing. They won't last forever, but will do the trick. It's what we used in the goldsmithing studio I learned in. What kind of tape are you using?

Is that an ocotillo next to it (on the right)? Love those. Incredible thorns. Fingers crossed you get rain!
