Guest Feeder

My longtime friend Doug Kleemann came out for a visit today while on a road trip from Seattle.  We have corresponded for years via the internet and finally got a chance to meet in person.  Ben was happy to meet him too.  After the feeding I gave Doug the nickle tour then got caught up on aspects of our lives beyond email.  Topped it off with a great dinner at the Starlight.  78,95,58,0,B,0

You need to get that guest house completed.

How much longer will Ben be on milk substitute. I guess a better question would be How long do calves nurse.

It is nice to have internet friends stop and see you in person. Sounds like you both had a great day.

Ben is old enough to drink out of a bucket. To get him started, cup your hand over his nose and insert your index finger in his mouth. As he suckes on your finger you guide his head into a bucket of replacer. As he suckes on your finger he will suck some of the milk at the same time. After a few times doing this he will learn to suck or drink the milk. It works with all calves.

Big ol' bottle of baby milk.

Glad y'all had a nice day of it. The Starlight is always a good way to end the day.
