Boot

On and off all day clearing the north side.  Sorted debris and scooted stuff out of site for a pic.  Walter has retired for the winter to the south side of the greenhouse.

Working on breaking in the new boots.  Getting through the incredibly painful phase quite well.  Just a couple of hours a day just before the blisters bloom.  My old boots are falling apart but they feel like melted butter when I put them on.  Did my break-in session this morning then sandals for the rest of the day while I let the glue set on a loose heal.  59,79,34,0,B

Things go better with Coke, like jack Daniels, Meyers Rum, and boots too! (boot pic)

Maybe you should purchase a larger size pair of boots??

Your greenhouse is looking very good John - almost surreal.

Nothing worse than new shoes / boots and the pain they cause - have heard that rubbing saddle soap on helps soften the leather.

A ton o' work getting all that stuff moved, and the results - and epic pic of the Greenhouse, North Side. Great pay-off. It looks amazing.

10-4 on the boots situation. I'm about to do the same with my "work" pair of Red Wings. I've never really had that much trouble breaking in a pair of them, though. Get some band-aids.

We have a boot shrine for well loved but worn out boots on a hill out in cedar springs. You are welcome to retire your's out there. when you are ready....I know, it is hard to say good bye. Linda
