Chalk up another fine day in the middle of nowhere. Benita was here for breakfast. We hung out for a little while then I got on with the day. Photographed the rain gauge in the early morning light then had an opportunity to get a shot of me and Benita. She ended up hanging out for a couple of hours while I worked on wind turbine number 2. She finally wandered off to graze on her own. Took a trip in to the ranch supply store for some human contact and a block of ice. My friend Ronald came out for a brief visit in the afternoon. Finally got the turbine mounted and up by 5:3oPM. Benita came back for a dinner snack then wandered off to graze some more. Will see her in the morning no doubt. Life is good.
