Fall in the desert

Cloudy all morning but finally cleared out by 3PM. Wired up the trimetric so I can finally read what's coming out of the wind turbines. Took about 2 hours to get it all hooked up and programmed for my system parameters. Too sloppy to photograph for the blog. Problem was as usual....not much wind. Most I read was 2 amps out of both of them. Wired up 3 solar panels for now to add some juice to the batteries. Most likely will add a 100 watt solar panel to the set up.

Been so dry out here that all the greenery and flowers are starting to fade. Seems like we had spring and summer over a 3 week period. My really good green vistas are all turning brown now. Off tomorrow to go back to Alpine to arm myself. As of Friday I will be part of the faction of America that Obama finds repugnant - those that cling to their guns and their religion.

Photo from the big bloom we had out here after the rains a couple of weeks ago...shot on September 25th.
